A registered reading room with a Solana shelf
The official registered business name is Reason Junction. The business was established in 2019 in Dongbinggo-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
How the room started
In the spring of 2019 Minjae Park opened a single room near Seobinggo-ro after six years as a records clerk at a Seoul trade journal. The journal’s habit was simple: a claim in print had to point at a document the desk could still produce. He wanted a room where readers of public blockchains could use that same habit, with paper on a shelf and time on a clock.
The first shelves held printed protocol documents from several public networks, filed with the date each copy was retrieved. Visitors were few and mostly local. The house rule was already in place: a conversation starts from a primary record, and the note is written before anyone leaves.
In 2021 a cluster of Seoul readers asked for a dedicated Solana shelf and a repeatable way to read programs, epochs, and mints. The ledger reading session was written down as a fixed three-hour appointment in 2022, with one subject and a booklet that the reader fills in. Hana Seo joined in 2023 to keep the archive desk, the box labels, and the Saturday hours. The work
Reason Junction teaches Solana ecosystem research skills in person. Readers learn to start from a signature, to treat an epoch as a bracket of time, to stay with one program account for an afternoon, and to cite a paper copy that remains in the building. The commercial offers are the session, the desk, the commissioned note, and the Thursday workshop.
Appointments stay with public records and with the questions those records leave open. A finished note says what the record shows. Editors and counsel send people to Dongbinggo-dong because the page can be handed to someone who was not at the table.
